When you buy things, do you consider how much you are spending per the amount of time you will use the item? I’m guessing most don’t consider this dollars-per-hour factor when buying things, but you sure do consider it when applied to your income.

Consider how much time your car sits idle, or how much time your spare bedroom is unused. Then consider how much money you are paying for such things.
