I read a post today that said that men make bad minimalists. The post was such garbage, full of really bad stereotypes, that I’m not even going to share the link. In the comments of the post after being called out on the sexism, the author even offered some twisted backpedalling and said, “I didn’t say women make good minimalists either. Yes, women have their own issues and likely make worse minimalists than men in general. But men do like bigger toys.”
Here’s the deal… ANYONE can be a minimalist. Men, women, and children. It doesn’t matter how much stuff the typical (or stereotypical) man or woman might have, or how big their toys are. All it takes is the desire to live with less stuff.
That’s it, anyone can be a minimalist.
