This week is moving week for us. We are downsizing from our 5 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment. That means I’m going to be engaged in activities associated with moving, and time for blogging may be limited. I’m planning to share articles each day as normal, but I may not have time to add the extra commentary.
It would be really awesome if you (the reader, declutterer, minimalist, and/or aspiring minimalist) could fill in some of the commentary by sharing your thoughts in the comments sections this week. You can use an alias if you don’t want to use your real name. It’s optional, of course, but I think it would be a fun way to fill the gap.
Today’s feature article is Curating a Life You Love by Melissa Camara Wilkins, posted at No Sidebar.
Here are her five tips:
- Stop with the “just in case.”
- Ease up on convenience.
- Practice listening.
- Use things as things, not therapy.
- Forget “should.”
I love this article, it hits on some core thoughts to keep in mind when decluttering. You should read the full article to get the context for each of these tips.
And then share your thoughts in the comments section.
